Barclays CEO quits after investigation into links with Jeffrey Epstein

The American chief executive of Barclays, Jes Staley, is stepping down with immediate effect following an investigation by British regulators into his relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, the bank said on Monday.
